Having spent a lot of time in the Swedish basketball world & compared it with what we have in the US, there is so much we can do in Sweden. One of the main things is to bring the American play style there and teach the players, so when the players come here to the US to play, they are ready.
The basketball culture in the US is so much more than just the time on the court. It is a lifestyle and has its own culture. ‘AAU’ is a large part of that culture, and with that a large part of what we want to bring to Sweden and to the Swedish players.
Team Cadeau is more than an ‘AAU’ organization. It is a movement, a movement toward development, international exposure, opportunity & inclusivity.

TEAM CADEAU’S MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to help Swedish players develop, get an understanding of the international basketball landscape & get exposure opportunities in Sweden and abroad, as well as making sure that basketball remains an equal opportunity sport in Sweden through all ages.

We want to work with as many countries as possible . In order to play in the tournaments in the US all players have to be from the same country. So we need to find a minimum of 10 players in each country.
Get started
If you are a coach or a player and you feel we will be able to form a team in your country start talking to others.
We are very intentional with the fact that we are not instead of any club teams, but an addition. If you have your country’s youth basketball schedule it will help us look for dates that will work to come to your country.

Yes, we will have tryouts in Sweden. If you can’t make the tryout you can send us film (a whole game) to team@elliotcadeau.com
